Miniature Brands for Steampunk Fans

Are you a fan of the pseudo-Victorian mechanical “steampunk” style?  Whether you already have your own steampunk miniatures, or simply like to collect and paint high quality miniatures, here are some brands that have been pumping out characters for your anachronistic world.

Heresy Lab Miniatures

The Heresy Lab “Vacant Realms – Steam Punk vs Dark Elves” collection introduced 18 ultra-detailed 28mm miniatures into the ever growing offering at this popular and fast-growing production company.

The Steam Punk vs Dark Elves collection features 10 hardened steampunk characters who seem well equipped for any kind of apocalyptic landscape they might find themselves thrust into.

Allistar Inferno from Steam Punk vs Dark Elves

The Steam Punk vs Dark Elves range is certainly intricate, and perhaps a challenge to paint but certainly rewarding and a great showcase set for any serious steampunk and miniature fan.

Casting: Resin

Another World

In the words of it’s Italian creators, “Not only STEAMPUNK, not only CYBERPUNK… simply ANOTHER WORLD!”.

Crowdfunded in 2015, the range features several high quality and one-of-a-kind characters who fit perfectly into the steampunk genre, including: Magnus the witchunter with his guitar / rifle combi. Kalita the witch huntress and several female commissars from the retrofuturistic world of steampunk.

Another World Miniatures have gone a little quiet in recent years, will they release further anachronistic characters? Only time will tell.

Many of these miniatures are of very limited stock, and you can add some to your collection today at Figures for Sale.

 Casting: Resin and Metal.

RAFM Miniatures

The most famous Band of flying pirates the world has ever known. Taking work for hire from the rich just as easily as stealing from them. This league of air soldiers are the terror of the skies.

RAFM Miniatures are one of the oldest and most respected miniature brands, going back to the 1970s.  They are known for producing high-quality ranges for all genres, and the airship pirates are no different.  The collection features several male and female characters for all your airborne plundering.

Casting: Metal

El Viejo Dragon

Another long-standing miniature producer founded in the mid 90s.  One of over 20 miniature ranges, the “little dragonettes” series exclusively features female miniatures, with a number inspired by the steampunk genre, such as the banjo wielding Dixie Belle.

NSFW warning – the Little Dragonettes series features nude and semi-nude miniatures.

Casting: White metal & resin

Raging Heroes

Featuring the “Toughest Girls in the Galaxy”, Raging Heroes have created two steampunk collections “Iron Empire” and “Jail Birds”.

The Iron Empire range features badass, big-attitude girls who have become exiled and somehow stumbled upon necromantic knowledge from alien pharaonic gods. They combine Prussian and Germanic influences with some kind of Aegyptian cyber necromancy that allow them to raise the dead and create bio-mechanical aberrations.

Raging Heroes are a well-known miniature manufacturer from southern France who have been going for around 25 years.  They have a wide range of Sci-Fi and fantasy miniature collections, all with exquisite detail.

Casting: Resin and Metal
